As part of its festive campaign, Lay’s launched limited-edition packs offering up to 2GB of free data—tapping into increased digital consumption during the pandemic. The design challenge was to integrate the offer in a way that felt seamless, festive, and fun, while delivering added value to consumers.
As the lead designer and illustrator for this limited-edition Lay’s packaging, I developed vibrant, illustration-driven designs inspired by classic Dad Jokes. With the logo and type placement already locked, I crafted visual narratives that posed questions on the front and revealed punchlines inside, turning each pack into a playful, interactive experience. The designs also encouraged digital participation through QR codes and exclusive content. Working under a tight production timeline, I quickly explored and refined illustration styles, adapting visuals for print while managing backtracking to meet delivery deadlines. The collectible packs were shared with influencers and celebrities, generating buzz and boosting engagement.
